Type 6 Adjustable 14 mm Double Heim Sway Bar Links

RedRunner Designs Type 6 Sway Bar Links are adjustable 14 mm double heim sway bar links built for newer Toyota truck platforms and other applications that use a clevis style lower sway bar link mount.

These links use FK Bearing heim joints at both ends for strength, movement, and adjustability. They are designed for drivers who need a stronger, rebuildable sway bar link setup for daily driving, lifted suspension setups, and off road use.

Type 6 links adjust from 88 mm to 105 mm center to center and are available in multiple thread and lower spacing configurations to match different Toyota sway bar link setups.

Length Range

Type 6 links adjust from:

88 mm to 105 mm center to center

Before ordering, measure your current sway bar link mounting length and confirm that this adjustment range will work for your setup.

Lower Mounting Bolt Note

All Type 6 variations reuse the lower OEM mounting bolt.

Do not discard your factory lower bolt during installation. The Type 6 lower mount is designed to fit inside the lower clevis style bracket and use the original lower mounting bolt.

Type 6 vs Type 9

Please verify your factory sway bar link style before ordering.

Type 6 is designed for applications that use a clevis style lower mount, where the sway bar link is captured inside the lower bracket and secured with the OEM lower mounting bolt.

If your factory sway bar link mounts externally over a pin, shaft, or stud, you may need the larger Type 9 style instead.

Important Safety Notice

For quick disconnect setups, you are responsible for securely supporting the sway bar when it is disconnected. Depending on the vehicle and suspension setup, an unsecured sway bar may contact surrounding suspension, steering, axle, brake, or CV components.

Always secure the sway bar before driving.

You may also disconnect only one side, leaving the opposite link connected to help support the sway bar while providing the same disconnect effect.
