About RedRunner Designs

RedRunner Designs started back in 2017 with one goal—build a capable, reliable adventure rig out of a humble 1997 Toyota 4Runner. What began as “just a lift and some tires” quickly spiraled into a full-blown obsession for off-road performance and custom fabrication.

We first showed off our builds and ideas online under the name @RedRunner97 on Instagram and Facebook, where a growing community of fellow enthusiasts followed along. After snapping one too many factory sway bar links, Tym built his first set from scrap metal in the garage—and they worked. A few friends wanted their own, word spread through social media and local off-road groups, and RedRunner Designs was born.

Today, every RedRunner Designs product is locally made in Simi Valley, California and surrounding areas. Each part is hand-assembled, packaged, and shipped by our small team, keeping the same hands-on quality and craftsmanship that started it all. While we’re an online-only shop with no storefront, we partner with trusted local shops for installations and fitment support.

You’ll find us out in the community at events like Off-Road Expo, Overland Expo, Yota Nights, and our very own Rigs & Relics gatherings. Our goal is simple: to become a recognized off-road name in Southern California and help bring the off-road community together—one build, one adventure, and one connection at a time.
