Type 5 Extra Long Adjustable Bolt On Sway Bar Links

Built for longer sway bar link applications, RedRunner Designs Type 5 Bolt On Sway Bar Links are essentially the extra long bolt on version of our Type 1 design.

They use the same general Type 1 style layout, but in a much longer adjustable package for vehicles that need more link length than our standard Type 1 setup can provide.

Type 5 bolt on links are designed for applications such as lifted Jeep XJ, ZJ, and MJ models, selected Ford Raptor setups, and other vehicles with longer sway bar link requirements where a permanent bolt on sway bar link is preferred over a quick disconnect setup.

These links are adjustable, rebuildable, available with red or black bushings, and now finished in black zinc coating for improved corrosion resistance and a cleaner appearance.

Bushing Color Options

Red Bushings

Lower Bolt Options

Type 5 Bolt On links are available with two lower bolt options.

Both lower bolt options use 7/16 inch lower mounting hardware.

Short Lower Bolt

• 24 mm usable mounting length
• Approximately 0.94 inch usable mounting length
• Best for Jeep applications and other vehicles with smaller tab style lower mounting points

Long Lower Bolt

• 36 mm usable mounting length
• Approximately 1.42 inches usable mounting length
• Best for applications with thicker or recessed lower mounting points

Usable mounting length is the remaining mounting space available after the included hardware and proper nyloc engagement are accounted for.

For 1st Gen Ford Raptors, the long lower bolt is the recommended option.

Currently confirmed fitment is limited. These links have been tested on a Jeep XJ with a 3 inch lift and are being tested on multiple 1st Gen Ford Raptor setups.
